JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The sexy celebrity Julia Perez popularly known as Jupe does not want to keep quiet on the statement of Home Minister Gamawan Fauzi over the government's plan to revise the 2004 bill No 32 on Regional Election. Besides mentioning experiences in political party, social organization or being a legislative member as the requirements needed to head a regency, Gamawan stated that anyone who commits adultery or proven of doing that in video is banned to be a regent.
Jupe reacts on the statement by saying firmly that it will never drop her struggle to be a candidate of Pacitan Regent. According to her, there is no such a rule stated in the bill.
"There is no such a condition. I never commit adultery," claimed her at a press conference at Sultan Hotel, Jakarta, on Saturday.
Asked by a reporter on the planned revision requiring a candidate to be clean from adultery, Jupe welcomes it. "That's great as I think a leader is obliged to stay away from adultery," said her.
So...are you ready for that? "As a young generation of this country, I'm ready to face it. If I'm not ready, I just let the chance for young generations to develop themselves closed."
