Sorry if Law Can't Say Sorry to Luna and Tari

Kompas.com - 09/07/2010, 10:41 WIB

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Apologies expressed by 2 celebrities allegedly featuring recent bombastic porn videos, Luna Maya and Cut Tari, will not influence procedural law being upheld by police. The investigation on suspects still goes on.

"The apologies are their own business. They will not hamper law enforcement," said National Police spokesman Insp. Gen. Edward Aritonang contacted by Kompas.com, Friday.

Edward revealed that he had no information yet on whether the celebrities admitted that they were the persons on the three videos. "I haven't heard that. Whether admissions exist or not will as usual not be a big deal for investigators. Investigation to produce proof will be done," said him.

Does it mean their status upgraded? "I'll check it out this morning. Probably yes considering the latest news exposures but I have not got the updated information on that yet."

Luna and Tari made an open apology to public directly on media coverages addressed to them yesterday. However, they did not explicitly admit that they were those who dealt with intimate actions on the videos.
