Ben Affleck dan "Batman v Superman" Masuk Nominasi Razzies Awards

KOMPAS.com - Film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice mendapat nominasi film terburuk dalam Golden Raspberry Awards atau yang biasa disebut Razzies Awards.

Film itu memimpin perolehan dengan delapan nominasi, termasuk aktor utama pria terburuk untuk Ben Affleck (Batman) dan Henry Cavill (Superman), juga sutradara terburuk untuk Zack Snyder.

Nominasi Razzies diumumkan pada Senin (23/1/2017) atau sehari sebelum pengumuman nominasi Academy Awards atau Oscar 2017.

Film lain yang mendapat nominasi sebanyak film garapan Zack Snyder itu adalah Zoolander 2.

Film ini mengantar Ben Stiller mendapat dua nominasi, yakni sutradara dan pemeran utama pria terburuk.

Pemenang Razzies akan diumumkan pada 25 Februari 2017, sehari menjelang malam puncak Academy Awards yang digelar pada 26 Februari.

Pemenang akan dipilih secara online oleh 1.014 anggota Razzies dari 49 negara bagian di AS dan 23 negara.

Namun pemenang untuk kategori "worst screen combo" dipilih oleh ribuan pengguna laman Rotten Tomatoes.

Razzies Awards merupakan ajang penghargaan untuk yang terburuk di dunia film.

Penghargaan ini digagas oleh copywriter dan publisist Hollywood, John JB Wilson dan Mo Murphy.

Sesuai namanya, penghargaan ini menyerahkan trofi berbentuk raspberry sebesar bola golf yang berdiri di gulungan film.  Seluruh piala itu berwarna emas.

Razzies pertama diberikan pada 31 Maret 1981. Ketika itu Wilson mengumumkan pemenangnya di rumahnya di Los Angeles.
